12.3.2011 Agility competitions in Lieto

Chi (Beck's Hill Goldeneye) and Jaakko Suoknuuti tooked first place in standard agility course with clear round. They needed this win to earn the right to take part in World Team Tryouts this year. Up until this Chi has been beaten in several competitions by other dogs in our family, so it was great achievement from her to snatch the victory in very high level competition :)

Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Janita Leinonen tooked second place in this start and

Rico (Decathlete's Comet) was in third place with Heidi Karanko.

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita Leinonen won the days second standard agility course.

Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Janita were victorious in jumping course.
Chi (Beck's Hill Goldeneye) and Jaakko tooked second place and Chi earned her first Jumping Certificate out of three needed to become Finnish Jumping Ch.

12.3.2011 AGILITY COMPETITION IN RIIHIMÄKI

Haka (Decathlete's Le Livre Blanc) and Tiina Koistinen came second in standard agility run out of 74 competitors. Nice run!

28.2.2011 Zoi (Decathlete's Delizia), Maya (Decathlete's Mistica) and Jaime (Decathlete's Gallardo) all have best possible A/A hips and clear 0/0 elbows :)

27.2.2011 AGILITY COMPETITIONS IN HYVINKÄÄ

Juju (Decathlete's Gryffindor) and Veijo Koistinen won the jumping run and got their second Jumping Certificate! This clear round also was the last result needed to take part in World Team Tryouts and Finnish Championships this year! Nice work guys!

Rico (Decathlete's Comet) and Heidi Karanko were second in jumping competitions and got their third and last leg needed to earn the title FINNISH JUMPING CHAMPION! Awesome work and lots of luck Heidi and Rico!

19.2.2011 AGILITY COMPETITIONS IN HAUKIPUTAA

Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight) and Mikko Aaltonen tooked first place in TWO standard agility runs at the same day, with

Erre (Decathlete's Raptor) and Heidi-Maria Puolakka placing second behind them in both of the rounds. Super nice agility day for both of you!

In this weekend´s courses your really needed to run like maniac from one end of the field to another. Not really too pleasant experience for handler in her fourties with injured thigh...

First course was a jumping run by judge Heidi Viitaniemen.
Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti tooked victory with super run.
Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita Leinonen placed second.
Chi (Beck's Hill Goldeneye) and Jaakko Suoknuuti were fifth.
There were 60 competitors in this course.

Second competition was standard course by judge Viitaniemi.
Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Janita tooked first place.
Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko placed in second position.
Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita were third.
Chi (Beck's Hill Goldeneye) and Jaakko came fourth.
Four first positions for our family :) among 61 competitors.

Third competition was standard run by judge Leena Rantamäki-Lahtinen.
Janita tooked first and second places with Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet).
54 starts in this one.

TD 7.10.2010-20.1.2011

Vet found severe growth failure from TD´s spinal column she had have from birth. Malformation caused pressure to her spinal core, which caused neurological problems with her hind legs. There was malformed vertebras and a severe bend in her spine. The vet sadly saw no other options, that put our little girl to sleep.

TD was the most wonderful puppy I have ever had. I would have not changed any of her qualities. She was completely fearless, she was always happy and learned new things with greatest of ease. She had incomprehesive will to play tug, she retrieved perfectly since the day we got her and had a perfect contact to people. Now we only can appreciate the short time we had pleasure to have her with us. She showed us how perfect dogs there is to be found in the world. Luckily we had quite much spare time from work at the time she was here with us, so we could have quite much quality time and create loving relationship with her. For our comfort we are sure she knew how much we loved her. Her death left huge empty space in our hearts no one can ever fill. Our grief is unspeakable :'(

Our time together was too short, but here is a short tribute to our little angel.

The bitch puppy is staying with us, her name is Fjell til Decathlete's aka TD.
The boy Noxu til Decathlete's aka Harald went to live with Niina-Liina Linna.

Janita Leinonen had a DOUBLE WIN IN THE NORDIC CHAMPIONSHIPS with Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy)! Hitti won the championship for a second year in a row and is entitled to compete in the Nordic Championships in 2011 :)

Finnish Team Large (Janita Leinonen & Omie, Jaakko Suoknuuti & Zen, Heidi Karanko & Rico and Anja Lehtiö & Pray) were placed third. Nine out of the total of 12 medals came to Finland. Pretty superior!

Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Jaakko Knuutti managed to make three nice clear rounds in agilitycompetitions, placing once second and two times third. Awesome day for you! Congrats!

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) with Janita Leinonen and Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) with Jaakko Suoknuuti went to England to attend Agility Festival-competition.There was 18 rings in progress at the same time and in course walking even up to 300 handlers at the same time :-0 Some day we had to walk through four couses before we actually could run the first of those... The maximum distance between obstacles is not determined in the rules, so they were anything from 3 to 20 metres. It was really interesting for a change to get to do so different course profiles! We really can recommed one of the world biggest agilitycompetitions for everybody!
Hitti made 9 clear rounds out of 12 and Zen made 8 clear rounds out of 11 with several wins and podium finishes. In Nations Cup our Team Nordic tooked victory. Our third team member was Mette Björne from Sweden with Tux! Thank you Mette!

88 Teams from all over the world and we were victorious with a team consist only of own breeding, truly a dream come true, AMAZING, still not sure this is real :-0 Our Team was: Mikko Aaltonen & Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight), Jaakko Suoknuuti & Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black), Janita Leinonen & Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy).

Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Janita Leinonen won 2010 FCI World Team Tryouts.
Rico (Decathlete's Comet) and Heidi Karanko placed 2nd.
Pray and Anja Lehtiö came 3rd.
Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti placed 4th and qualified for Nordic Championships.

Hitti´s preparation for Tryouts was not optimal and she dropped one bar in three rounds out of five :( Hitti also has a spot in Nordic Championship Team as an raigning Nordic Champion.

Janita Leinonen got a double win with Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) in an agility competition which was a qualification to the Open Finnish Championship finals. There were 145 competitors in class.

The last certificate would have been available by a win but Hitti missed the entry on the weaving poles on the agility course :'(

Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won an agility course and a jumping course in Italy. By being the winner in the combined results Zen got a certificate which is the first leg to the Italian Agility Champion title.

Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight) and Mikko Aaltonen won the jumping course in the Finnish Championships but unfortunately got a disq on the agility course. Also Haka (Decathlete's Le Livre Blanc) & Tiina Koistinen and
Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) & Jaakko Knuutti were qualified to the finals.

Congratulations to the new Finnish Champions Sari and Iiro who were the only ones among 162 competitors to ran clean on both courses!

Border Agility Team (Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) & Jaakko Knuutti, Meg & Pete Huotari, Fiko & Tarja Ruokolainen and Emmi & Janne Karstunen) won the team championships with no faults.

Team Active Dogs (Erre (Decathlete's Raptor) & Heidi-Maria Puolakka, Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight) & Mikko Aaltonen, BC & Mari Kaplas and Tiikki & Katja Leinonen) were second with a time couple of seconds slower than the winners'.

Team Littoisten Agility Warriors: (Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) & Janita Leinonen, Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) & Jaakko Suoknuuti, Konna & Jenni Leino and Rhett & Niina-Liina Linna) were third with a result 5. Hitti and Konna ran clean, Zen and Rhett both got one fault.

The little ones have started practising: the future challengers of Zen's record of on side approach to the weaves... Dion (Decathlete's Velocissima) and Jaime (Decathlete's Gallardo), age 5 months, can already do the approach from 30 metres :-0 Still of course with the help of nets and with only six poles but a good start :)

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita Leinonen were placed second on an agility course and Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Janita were third. To qualify to the national team tryout competition you need to have the required results for the dog-handler -team: seven clean runs, one win and a "double-zero" (two clean runs in two competitions in a row). Omie has now got these results with both Elina and Janita! Thank you Elina for the priviledge to get to compete with this great dog!

Juju (Decathlete's Gryffindor) and Veijo Koistinen were placed 4th.

A triple win again to Decathlete's team in Norway when
Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won,
Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Janita Leinonen were second and
Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita Leinonen were third.

It was an international competition so Zen received a CACIAG and Omie received a reserve-CACIAG. Since Zen already is an International Agility Champion, the CACIAG was moved on to Omie who will need another CACIAG in Finland a year from now to become an International Agility Champion!

The competitors from abroad can only benefit from the certificates that are given out in the Norwegian Kennel Club competitions. Since this was one of those competitions and they give out two certificates on agility courses both Omie and Hitti became NORWEGIAN AGILITY CHAMPIONS!

Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won also the jumping course, and with that win Zen became a NORWEGIAN JUMPING CHAMPION!
Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita Leinonen were on a split 2nd place with Jenni Lehtinen and Dingo :) Only one certificate is given out on NKK jumping courses.

During the competition week our family won all the official competitions and also all the certificates that were given out were split evenly between our three dogs. What a week :)

Thanks to Jenni and Jan-Egil for the full maintenance for the whole week! Not being able to get to read the e-mails or answer the phone gave us a rare opportunity to have a real holiday...

A triple win to our family in an agility competition in Norway when

We also took a double win on the jumping course:

There was a jumping finale on Sunday to everyone who did well on the open jumping courses. All our three dogs were in the final. Janita won the finals with
Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) running fastest and was second with
Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet).

Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) made a new record of on side approach to the weaves , 130 meters! Zen didn't even know where the weaving poles were when Jaakko took her out of the car and sent her towards the agility field with a command "weave". A perfect weave on the first try :) We have not yet found a distance were Zen would not have done it right on a first try. Janita was filming the video and threw a toy to the end of the weaves when Zen had finished the weaves but because of the camera the toy came too late and Zen did not want to turn back to it...

The first course was won by Jaakko Suoknuuti and Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black). Jaakko did not make it to the course walking since he was working but he still managed to win :-0 Unfortunately both Hitti and Omie dropped one bar on this course :(

The second course was also won by Jaakko and Zen. Janita Leinonen & Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) were second and Janita & Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) were third.

Because Zen already is a jumping champion, Hitti received the certificate. This was Hitti's third jumping certificate so Hitti is now Finnish Jumping Champion:)

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita won the NORDIC CHAMPIONSHIP! I have been doing agility for 17 years. Hitti is my fifth dog that I am competing with and it feels so unreal to finally win something... Hitti is the sweetest dog in the world and the best partner I could ever dream of competing with!

Finnish Team large was placed second. The large team competition was won by the Danish team who really deserved it by six clean runs.

Zen (Decthlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won a jumping course in Sweden and received a jumping certificate. Zen is now SWEDISH JUMPING CHAMPION. There were 112 competitors in class.

Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight) gave birth to a litter of five out or which two are brown&white :-0 I had a dream the previous night that Sky had brown&white puppies. In the morning I laughed to Mari that it is not even possible. When they called and told me about the colour I thought they were joking with me until I got a photo to prove it :)

Zen (Decthlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti pulled another hat trick and won three competitions in Riihimäki! One of the courses was a jumping course and two were agility courses. There were 59-66 competitors in class.

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita Leinonen were placed third on both agility courses.

After a lot of misfortune and diffifulties we ended up choosing the world's loveliest dog Zeta to Diva. Even thouhg Sky was mated to Zeta we still chose him also to Diva because at the moment there are no other dogs that I would want to sire this litter. I want to have a puppy myself with this dog as a close relative. Now my chances are better if the mating goes ok...

Diva's fiancé is visiting us between 29.10-1.11. The people who are interested in meeting the Italian gentleman can come and meet him between Thursday and Sunday :)

During our trip to Italy last summer I fell in love with a Border Collie dog called Zeta. He was very nice to both dogs and people. A quiet and calm dog outside the agility ring. Full of fire when running agility but still keeping his head together. All the qualities that I appreciate very much. When Mari and Mikko asked for my help in choosing a stud dog for Sky I couldn't think of other dogs that I like as much as I like Zeta. When Sky came into season we got Laura with Zeta and Sky to visit us for a few days. Even with a bitch in heat in the house Zeta and Cosmo had no problems with eachother. All the dogs ran free on the walks and spent time indoors together.

During these five days I totally fell in love with Zeta. I am very picky about dogs and Zeta passed all my tests: I saw no annoying features in him whatsoever during the visit. Even being so full of passion and fire in agility he was able to calm down immediately after the work was done. He also used his brain when working: if something did not work out he changed the way he acted to avoid the same mistake from happening again. A fantastic feature in a dog! He loves to be cuddled but does not act submissive. He gets along with all dogs and doesn't make a sound. The kind of dog that I would love to have! I must get a puppy out of the most perfect dog in the world, can't help myself! I was so lucky to have run into Zeta. We had a successful mating on three days, so we are hoping for some fabulous puppies...

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita ran two clean runs in a class 3 agility competition. They won one of the competitions and were 2nd on the other. This was the first competition where Hitti was allowed to receive her third certificate and she got it immediately. Hitti can be called a Finnish and Swedish Agility Champion from now on :) Hitti is also now qualified to the 2010 Finnish Championships and the national team tryout competition.

Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won an agility competition and a jumping competition. Zen got a jumping certificate and is now a Finnish Jumping Champion! Quite funny to have mother and daughter receive their title the same day :) Because there is no official jumping certificate document yet the staff made one out of toilet paper. Can you get better service anywhere other than an ATT competition?

Three agility competitions in Lohja.

The first and second places were taken by our family on the first agility course: Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won, Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita were second with a gap of 0,16 seconds.

On the next course we also took the first two places. Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) & Janita won and Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) & Jaakko Suoknuuti were placed 2nd. The gap was 0,04 seconds.

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita won also the jumping course of the day and received their second jumping certificate. Hitti gets to receive the last jumping certificate in a bit over 6 months.

Quite a nice weekend: five competitions were all won by either Zen or Hitti :) It seems we've got back in the rhytm now that we have cut off some work and get to practise every now and then...

Mikko and Sky are now qualified for 2010 Championship and team tryout competition. All of these courses they have run clear, they have also won :) Just amazing!

Nera (Decathlete's Ravenclaw) and Craig’s (That'll Do Graig) seven puppies were tested, what a super litter :-0 Sessa has given the best possible basics for the puppies to start their lives from! One dog puppy is still available and I can really commend this puppy as a great partner for dog sports <3 The puppies will start leaving to their new homes from August 25th on. Congratulations to all new puppy owners, I wish you all a long, healthy and happy journey together with your new puppies :)

Agility European Open in the Netherlands.

Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti were placed 3rd on the agility course of 335 competitors from all around the world. They lost 13 hundredths of a second to the winner. Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita were fourth on a jumping course of 325 dogs.

Agility Finnish Team tryout competition, an extremely exciting competition up to the very end!

A huge super congratulations to Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Elina Jänesniemi for winning the tryout competition and receiving the ticket to the World Championships in Austria, you really earned it! Words are not enough to describe the level of your work on every single course: every run you did exactly in your own way without any “safe” choices. Omie is the third Decathlete’s dog that has gotten into the national team at two years of age. All three dogs have been trained in agility in the same way from puppy age. We are so proud of you!

Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Niina-Liina Linna were placed third together with Niinu’s own dog Rhett. Because Niinu will, of course, rather go to the World Championships with her own dog, Vimma will only be seen in the Nordic Championships in Sweden in December. Congratulations Niinu for reaching your goal and for your dreams coming true :)

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita were placed 5th in the competition. The pole of the first jump dropped on the final course after I left Hitti behind a metal bumper. That caused Hitti to mix her steps and our team membership went down with the pole. Still, there are no words to describe how much I love that little noisy creature <3 She gives me everything she’s got on every course! Hitti is the reserve dog for Yoko and Omie for World Championships, and the reserve dog to the whole team for Nordic Championships. That makes Hitti in a way the fourth Decathlete’s bred dog that has reached the national team at two years of age. We got this far with just six months of training: if we both stay healthy, just wait until next year…

Congratulations also to Anu Niemi and Viima who have been training under our supervision a lot. The hard work finally paid off :)

We wish a great trip to the Finnish team! We will have our fingers crossed for each and everyone of you! Remember to enjoy the event that thousands of competitors only dream of participating. The obstacles are the same as at home. Go and do your own thing. Trust yourselves and your dogs, you can do it!

Vinka (Decathlete's Starfighter) and Anne Juslin started their working trial career in a big way: they won a class 1 tracking competition with 288/300 points! The missing 12 points were lost mainly in the obedience section due to Vinka coming straight to the heelwork position (which is considered a fault in working trial obedience). Huge congratulations to the skilled trackers, what a great start!

Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Elina Jänesniemi started the water rescue season by winning a class 1 competition with full score 100/100! This was the second 1st prize result for Omie, so next time he will be competing in class 2. Congratulations for the great water rescue team: Omie, Elina and assisting handler Sari Niemi, good job!

Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita won a jumping course in Porvoo. Since Cosmo already had two wins from a jumping course, and with the new agility regulations we now also get to have a jumping champion title, this certificate made COSMO into a FINNISH JUMPING CHAMPION! Quite cool since there were 56 competitors in class. Also Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet) ran a great clean run on a difficult course and was placed 4th in tough competition! I wish Tekla and Cosmo would stay this fit forever...

Four agility competitions in Torino, Italy. One agility course and one jumping course on both Saturday and Sunday. Janita was competing with Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Jaakko with Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black). All the wins and second places were taken by Zen and Hitti on three courses! Hitti was third on one jumping course.

In Italy the certificate goes to the best dog in total results (agility and jumping course results combined). Receiving the champion title is much more difficult in Italy than it is in Finland since you need to run a clean run on two courses in a row. Hitti was the best in total results on both days and received two Italian certificates. On Saturday Hitti and Zen had a gap of only 0,1 seconds, quite an even family…

Five agility competitions in Turku.

On Friday the class 3 agility course was won by Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) & Elina Jänesniemi. Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) & Niina-Liina Linna were third and Rico (Decathlete's Comet) & Heidi Karanko fourth. A nice beginning for Decathlete’s dogs in the Midsummer agility competition :)

The jumping course was won by Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight) & Mikko Aaltonen. Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) & Elina Jänesniemi were fourth and Rico (Decathlete's Comet) & Heidi Karanko took eight place.

On Saturday the first agility course was won by Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight) & Mikko Aaltonen. The second agility course of the day was won by Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) & Elina Jänesniemi.

Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) & Elina Jänesniemi also won the agility course on Sunday.

Super congratulations to Elina and Mikko who split all the wins, boy you’re good! Big Well Done also to Heidi for two clear runs! It sure was nice receiving these results by SMS to Italy :)

Decathlete's dogs TOP2 in Finnish Agility Championships!

Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Niina-Liina Linna won the Finnish Championship! They beat Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) & Janita who were second, by 1,91 secs. You can see Vimma and Hitti’s runs from the final course here. Vimma: sarja: maxi, lähtö: maxi048 and Hitti: sarja: maxi, lähtö: maxi047. Many congrats to Niinu for an excellent job, you are absolutely the best!

The results after the first course were: Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight) & Mikko Aaltonen at first place, Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) & Niina-Liina Linna second, Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) & Janita third, Piru & Teemu Linna fourth and Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) & Janita sixth. Also Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet) & Janita made it to the finals. The grandma was 29th on jumping course, at the age of almost 100 years :) The final run got quite exciting: among the top 6 there were five dogs who were either our own dogs, bred by us or owned by our team mates… Amazing runs, one after another, congratulations to all of you who got into the finals.

Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti had a perfect run until obstacle nr 13. Unfortunately Zen slipped and they did not make it to the finals. Zen was treated by an osteopath the very next day and had several injured points in her pelvis and neck  Thanks to Leena Piira who helped Zen with such short notice!

Also Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Elina Jänesniemi ran a perfect course right until jump number 18, where the handler got a bit impatient and that ended up with a refusal. Elina and Omie are now running so fast that this could be seen as a storm warning!

A nasty reminder of a slippery surface. Cosmo fell after a jump, as did so many other dogs :(

Thank you all for congratulating us. A special thanks to Jaakko who was there for us during the whole day! Only the people who know Hitti’s history know the meaning of this result for me…

When Hitti was one year old she got into an accident and a ligament in her biceps was cut. This was followed by a 6-month break in practicing. We got to enjoy agility again after the break but that only lasted for 1,5 months: Hitti crashed into a stick and she ended up with an infection in her salivary gland. She had to undergo two operations and several courses of antibiotics followed by a total break of 3 months. We started practicing again, this time we got 2,5 months. Now it was my turn to be diagnosed with a stress injury on my back. The doctor told me to take a break from running for three months.

Before Finnish Championships I did practice for 2 months, despite what the doctor ordered. Luckily my back did handle it. With all these breaks we have had only 6 months of training time together with Hitti. With a job that allows me to practice only once a week, you could say that the dog needs to be a natural talent to get into this level! Thanks to the best Hippa-Leena in the world, for a loud but lovely partnership :)

Agility Finnish Team Championships in Tornio. 38 teams in class large.

Team LAW was second with Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) & Jaakko Suoknuuti, Piru & Teemu Linna, Rhett & Niina-Liina Linna and Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) & Janita. The time of this team was 15 seconds faster than the winning team’s. An unfortunate up contact fault on the dogwalk dropped the team into second place and prevented us from repeating the win we got last year.

Team SBCAK was third with Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) & Elina Jänesniemi, Raija & Tuomas Oksanen and Poppa & Liisa Lehikoinen. What is special about this team’s result is that they only had three competitors who all HAD to come up with a result. There was only 0,67 seconds gap between LAW and SBCAK team. Also this team got their only fault from the dogwalk’s up contact.

There were two Decathlete's dogs also in team Active Dogs that got the fourth place: Erre (Decathlete's Raptor) & Heidi-Maria Puolakka and Sky (Decathlete's Skyknight) & Mikko Aaltonen. Also this team got one fault and was 9 seconds faster than the winning team

Two agility competitions in Tornio

Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won the first competition. Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Niina-Liina Linna were second and Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) & Janita were sixth. 92 competitors in class.

Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Elina Jänesniemi won the second course, Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) & Janita were third. There were 75 competitors on this course.

Hitti and Zen attended 9 agilitycompetitions during four days. Girls were pretty spectacular and won all nine competitions! Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Janita tooked five wins and Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti four. Snoopy (Decathlete's Carpe Diem) injured himself badly and had to undergo a surgery. He had severe damage in his hind leg knee. Six months rehabilitation and it seems that his agility and water rescue career is over :( Luckily he has the sweetest character who will easily adapt also the living without trialing. Best of luck for recovering to Snoopy and regrets to Hanna & Toni!

Omie (Decathlete's Galaxy) and Elina Jänesniemi won standard agilitycompetitions with fastest round out of 31 competitors. This was Omie´s second leg towards Agility Champion -title and he can become a champion by getting the third result needed after a year has passed since his first victory.

Agilitycompetitions in Eckerö

Hitti (Decathlete's Hornet) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won jumping class with fastest round out of 71 competitors, way to go! This was a competition where we had changed handlers and dogs among ten of our friends by drawing new handlers for every dog. Jaakko also tooked the second place with Grim. This competition was very exiting to watch because nobody of our friends had never before competed with the dogs they ran this jumping course... Anna & Rhett, Jouni & Carmen and Niinu & Noel managed to make fine clear rounds. Congratulations for succeeding in this quite difficult course with strange dogs! Niina-Liina Linna ran clear round also with Hugo (Never Stop Artist of Decathlete's), thanks Niinu for handling Hugo!
